Kristjan Jaak Study periods abroad

The scholarship can be used for participating at tuition and practice, also for individual work, laboratory work, field work and consultations in case of PhD students. Scholarship can be used for up to 12 months regarding the educational level. During the study periods abroad there must be active tuition in the host educational institution. The scholarship can be applied for once a year during the respective level of studies.

Amount: 
The amount of the scholarship depends on the target country. Transportation and living costs are covered.

Dora Plus short study visits can last for up to 30 calendar days. The scholarship covers the costs of accommodation, travel and subsistence on the basis of fixed unit prices. The participation fee of the event is reimbursed on the basis of actual costs.

Dora Plus 1.2 - PhD student mobility

Dora Plus 1.2 supports PHD student mobility from Estonian universities to a foreign university or research facility. Mobility can last 1-10 months. Living and transport allowance are covered.

The call for applications in higher education institution will be before 1st day (on following call deadlines). The participating higher education institutions will forward info to foundation about grantees on the following deadlines: March 1, June 1, September 1, October 1 and December 1.

Smart specialisation scholarship

The smart specialisation scholarships are paid to the BA and MA students, who study a smart specialisation specialities and PhD students of Estonian universities who conduct a research related to the smart specialisation growth areas. These scholarships are administred by Estonian universities. For more relevant information, please contact universities directly.

Amount: 
BA and MA students 160 euror per month, PHD students 440 euros per month.

Erasmus+ international credit mobility (Partner Countries)

Mobility projects for learners and staff in higher education enables students and staff to participate in mobility all over the world (with few exceptions). Students can study or do a traineeship abroad, teaching staff can either participate in training activities or go to teach abroad. The duration of studies can last from 3 to 12 months, the duration of training from 2 to 12 months. Staff mobility can last from 5 days to 2 months (excluding travel time). The programme is open to both incoming and outgoing students and staff.

Amount: 
The scholarship covers the costs of travel and living expenses. The amount of support for travel depends on the distance between the higher education institutions (from 20 to 1500 euros). The amount of support for living expenses is 650/700 euros (for students coming from Estonia) or 750/800 euros (for students coming to Estonia). The amount of support for staff is 100/140 euros per day for incoming participants to Estonia and 160/180 euros per day for people going from Estonia.
