EEA/Norway Cooperation Programme in Higher Education is a subcategory of the Baltic Research Programme which itself belongs to the EEA Grants and Norway Grants programme. The EEA/Norway Cooperation Programme in Higher Education represents the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to reducing economic and social disparities and to strengthening bilateral relations with 15 EU countries in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltics. In Estonia, the programme is implemented by Archimedes Foundation. The priorities for the 2014-2021 period reflect the priorities of the EU and aim to respond to the shared challenges facing Europe.
In 2020 call the total budget is 423 165 EUR out of which 150 000 EUR is reserved for mobility projects as long as they fulfill the minimum quality criteria.
The deadline is 13 April, 2020 at 16:00 (Estonian time).
EEA/Norway Cooperation Programme in Higher Education grants include:
- Cooperation projects between higher education institutions to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the long term, to promote the internationalization of higher education and to raise the quality of teaching and provide students and academic staff with additional professional knowledge and skills in an international environment.
- Mobility projects to provide academic staff in higher education institutions and professionals from other institutions with valuable international experience and new knowledge and skills.
- Preparatory Visits targets staff from Estonian higher education institutions who would like to find and strengthen relations with potential partner institutions for future applications for mobility and cooperation projects. Preparatory visits will be funded on a rolling budget until funds last.
